Did you know Pip & Pantalaimon started with the humble suspender strap?
At the time; 5 years ago this month, in fact, there were only very thin straps available on the market and they were made with plastic components that were definitely not up to the job.
So I set out, using some contacts from my time working in luxury lingerie, to source great quality metal components and sumptuously plush backed satin elastic to make the straps. I made the first straps one by one in a small but perfectly formed office in the garden.
The superior quality was well received and they sold well. From there I designed various shapes and styles and brought out more colours too.
You now have the choice of straight adjustable straps, adjustable Y straps, Fixed V straps and fixed I straps as standard. They all have a super strong metal hook on the top to attach to your existing lingerie pieces and top quality steel suspender clips.

The adjustable straight straps and the adjustable Y straps (available in both 15mm and 20mm wide) are the perfect length for corsets, waspies and basques. The Y Straps are particularly effective with seamed stockings as you can attach the suspender/garter grips to the stockings either side of the seam or keyhole at the back.

The shorted I straps and fixed V straps are great for girdles and longer corselettes that finish underneath the bum as they’re short enough to bridge the gap between the bottom of your lingerie and the top of your stockings without allowing the stockings to sag too low.

For the more adventurous and avant garde we have our black W straps. Inspired by the webbed suspender belt, the straps feature 4 suspender/garter grips each for a striking powerful lingerie look.

Finally, early last year we were eventually able to get our hand on some suspender clips with a hook built it! These straps have plenty of useful benefits. Measuring only an inch, they’re great for longer lingerie styles where you want as small a gap as possible between the hem and your stockings and your lingerie. The hook built into the suspender strap gives a very smooth streamline look too. Until now these have only been available in black but more colours are coming in the next few weeks.
