Introducing Black Cameo: Timeless Black Lace Lingerie, the P&P Way
There are some lingerie styles that simply never date. Black lace lingerie is one of them!
It can be glamorous, understated, dramatic, feminine or downright seductiv. And while I'm always drawn to rich and beautiful colours, prints and unusual fabrics, there will always be something particularly special about a set of classic black lingerie.
So, I've created Black Cameo.
A new collection of vintage inspired black lingerie
Black Cameo is a new P&P collection centred around one of the most enduring combinations in lingerie: black lace, black mesh and black trims.
For this range, I've used a black lace laminate attached to black denier, giving the fabric a gorgeous semi sheer appearance. I've paired this with black mesh and kept the elastics and other trims black too. It's classic, but definitely not boring.
Six styles to choose from
For Black Cameo, I've selected six P&P styles that work particularly well together, giving you plenty of options for creating your own set.
The Longline Underwired Bra
For a more structured vintage silhouette, the Longline Underwired Bra gives you the support and shape of an underwired bra with that unmistakable longline look.
It's perfect paired with either of the Black Cameo suspender styles and a high waisted bottom.
The Front & Back Fastening Soft Bra
Prefer something softer?
The Front & Back Fastening Soft Bra is an unstructured alternative to the longline underwired style. With its vintage inspired shape and unusual fastening arrangement, it's a lovely option if you want something a little less structured while still getting that classic P&P aesthetic.
Two ways to hold up your stockings
Black Cameo can be finished with either the classic 6 Strap Suspender Belt or our brand new Mini Girdlette.
The 6 Strap Suspender Belt is a P&P staple, designed with six straps for properly supporting stockings day after day rather than simply creating a boudoir style suspender look.
The Mini Girdlette is something completely new.
I've been wanting to create a smaller, more streamlined girdle inspired shape, and Black Cameo is the first collection to introduce it. It's a fresh take on the vintage girdle, sitting somewhere between a suspender belt and a traditional girdle.
And finally, your choice of knicker
To complete your Black Cameo set, you can choose between the High Waisted Knicker or our High Waisted Thong.
Both work beautifully with the higher waistlines of the bra and suspender styles, creating a really lovely vintage inspired silhouette.
The high waisted knicker gives you that classic mid century feel, while the high waisted thong offers a slightly more contemporary alternative without losing the vintage influence.
But these aren't your only options...
Although I've chosen these six styles to form the Black Cameo collection, you're not limited to these combinations.
One of the things I love about making lingerie to order is being able to create pieces that aren't necessarily part of the standard collection.

Made to order in the UK
Like all P&P lingerie, Black Cameo is made to order in my UK studio.
Rather than producing large quantities of lingerie and storing them in a warehouse, each piece is cut, sewn and finished individually. I use vintage sewing machines and traditional lingerie making techniques, with carefully sourced fabrics and materials.
