CARE INSTRUCTIONS

All Pip & Pantalaimon lingerie is machine washable at 30°C, but if you want your treasured lingerie to last as long as possible, hand washing in cool or lukewarm water is best.

Always fasten suspender clips closed before washing to prevent them from detaching.

Never tumble dry or iron. Allow your lingerie to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.

A proper vintage inspired longline girdle in luxurious red satin, designed to create that unmistakable 1950s silhouette.

The Diavola sits firmly at the natural waist and extends down over the hips and bottom, smoothing and shaping the figure beneath your clothes. The front and back are made from a rich red shapewear satin, with stretch mesh at the sides for a close, sculpting fit.

Six sturdy steel suspender clips give you plenty of support for a pair of seamed stockings. 

There's a hook fastening at the back which makes getting into the girdle much easier.  Simply unhook it, step into the girdle and wiggle it into position before fastening it snugly around your natural waist.

Made slowly and carefully in my Market Harborough studio, each Diavola girdle is cut, sewn and finished by hand. I use traditional lingerie making techniques and true vintage sewing machines alongside modern deadstock fabrics to create pieces inspired by vintage foundations but made for today.

How it fits

The Diavola is designed to sit at your natural waist and fit snugly through the waist, hips and bottom.

It is intentionally a close fitting piece of shapewear, so don't be tempted to size down. If you're between sizes, I recommend sizing up.

For the best fit, measure your natural waist and full hip and compare them with the size chart below.

The back hook allows you to step into the girdle rather than having to pull it over your hips.
